How do you handle updates to SuitePOS?

Under our subscription model, SuitePOS is updated several times a year by the end customer. This is to introduce new functionality and fix bugs. In a lot of cases, you can stay on the version you are on until it is officially deprecated. We also perform patches and maintenance releases periodically.

There are two components to each release:

SuitePOS App

This is the app on the Apple device (iPad or iPhone). Customers generally install this via Mobile Device Management (MDM) software across all their lanes and devices. 

SuitePOS Bundle/Package

This is server side code that is used to orchestrate the integration. This update is generally only necessary for major releases or critical bugs. Your NetSuite or Salesforce Admin typically performs this task.
